Act One Dance Company is a performing and competing dance company which resides in Fryeburg, ME.

Our Mission

Act One Dance Company is a 501(c)(3) non-profit performing dance company dedicated to providing dance education and performance opportunities to youth in the Greater Fryeburg, ME, and Mt. Washington Valley area.

Our goal is to foster artistic expression, build confidence, and promote personal growth in our students. We share our accomplishments through regular public performances and participation in regional and national competitions; attending and participating in cultural events deepens our aesthetic awareness.

Our long-term goal is to build a permanent home. Within that space, we would welcome other groups or individuals, involved with the arts movement, to offer lessons and practice their skills.

We gratefully acknowledge the generosity of corporations, foundations, and individuals who support Act One Dance Co. It is through their contributions and support that we continue to be able to bring quality artistic performances and educational community service activities to our area.
